Damn! Italian-Argentinian hottie Bernardo has us ready to pack our bags to move to South America today. The impossibly sexy import, who moved to Los Angeles just over a year ago, busies himself with a workload that would kill lesser men. By day, Bernardo juggles his modeling and acting career while working as a physical trainer at Gold's Gym in Hollywood. By night, he is behind the bar at the trendy new L.A. hotspot Eleven, slinging drinks to Hollywood's in crowd. It is his love for helping people, though, that really drives Bernardo, who hopes to take his dreams of stardom and his passion for physical training and turn them into a fitness TV show to help the masses get in shape. Stay tuned! In the meantime, if you'd like to book some one-on-one gym time with the South American hunk, call Gold's at (323) 462-7012.

Bernardo, you’re a long way from home. What brought you to the States?

I came to complete my education and secure a brighter future. The United States offers great opportunties for both. Since being here, I attended college and have gotten two degrees. One as a translator and interpreter in Spanish and English, and also a degree in physical education, which, as a personal trainer, is very important.

What do you like most about your new burg?

L.A. is such an amazing city. What I like most is the climate, and being outdoors almost everyday. I also like how easy it is to play sports. With a short drive, you can be surfing at beautiful beaches, or snowboarding and skiing in the mountains. I think that’s amazing!

When you’re not working one of your four jobs, how do you like to unwind?

I chill with my friends. I read. I hang out in Studio City at my friends’ houses. Sometimes we’ll go out to dinner in downtown L.A., in Orange County. I just try to relax because my work takes a lot of time.

What’s the coolest part about working at Eleven?

I don’t really have to do it, but I like socializing and meeting new people. It’s a very nice place, very nice interior.

What drew you to your work in physical training?

I always liked to help people. [In my work] as a translator, I help Spanish-speaking people here in the U.S. I work in courts and hospitals. And then, I was always a sports guy. I played professional rugby, soccer, tennis, all the sports that you can think of. So I decided to get a degree in personal training.

What’s your specialty as a personal trainer?

I make sure that all my clients are “balanced trained.” What I mean by that is the body has to be physically proportioned. I see so many guys with big upper bodies and very thin legs, or big legs and undeveloped chest. What I do is make sure everything in my personal training programs are balanced, including their diet.

You’re also a model and an actor. What would you like to do with that?

I am really more dedicated to fitness, that’s what I do the most. I did a lot of modelling, especially in Argentina and Europe, with Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, and I did a lot of telenovelas. I would love eventually to do my own TV show, especially in fitness.
