Scenes successfully maintain solid power-play relationships, not always through physical bondage but with dominant attitudes mastering these amazing pig bottoms. WHAT: Beautiful Blake Riley recalls four carnal encounters that took place at his Palm Desert abode. The opening features Riley and bad boy Johnny Hazzard, but the only rough thing about Hazzard is that haircut. Still, he and Riley are pros and this first scene rocks. Other notables are Damian Rios, who has an ass we all dream about, while Christian Cruz and Ryan Alexander make an incredible coupling; Alexander is a special treat, having outgrown his twink roots to become a handsome sexpot (with a huge rod). Restless Youths has a simple premise that’s simply executed—I doubt this will become one of LaRue’s blockbusters—but these dreamy dudes look fantastic, so definitely check it out.

WHAT: Firemen and gay porn go together like boners and butt holes, so I was really excited for On Fire!, especially with gorgeous Dean Phoenix starring. I did like the DVD with its impressive cast and interesting locations (Sex on a fire truck anyone?), but it wasn’t as smoking as I’d hoped. Take the opening five-man shower scene with hotties like sensual Nathan Sommers and commanding top C.J. Madison. It moves as expected, with each guy taking turns sucking hose, macking on crack, then poking each other. The same happens with Jason Reddick and Jonathan Lowe on the fire truck; performances are good, but both scenes feel dated, like I’ve seen them before. That said, the hazing of Braxton Bond, who gets force-fed Jeremy Hall’s prick before he’s double penetrated, did hold some nice surprises. Likewise, the finale between Jesse Santana and Phoenix, though more of a romantic scene with some deliciously hot elements, delivered a nice conclusion. On Fire! is certainly better than most DVDs to recently come out; just don’t expect your screen to catch ablaze.

WHAT: Online porn palace Next Door Buddies has released more of its best scenes on DVD. It’s a combination of guys jacking off with some feebly set up man-on-man moments. The feel is totally amateur—no music, basic lighting, cameraman’s foot slipping into the shot—and yet I kept getting turned on. The guys are damn hot (and not household names like other porn stars). Anthony’s dirty talk with Matt Ryder made me come, and even though I don’t like solo videos, I couldn’t stop watching. If you want slick production value, pass on it, but Vol. 3 is definitely worth a rental.
