Say it isn't so, but Bel Ami's George Duroy says Lukas Ridgeston won't be doing any more vids, and his swan song will be the upcoming Lukas in Love! Blue-eyed dreamboy Lukas has told me he loves editing and working behind the scenes, and some former Bel Ami superstars help "train" new recruits, but this next one will definitely be his last. In order to milk it for all it's worth, the title is coming out in two parts, along with a Premium Collector's Edition with three discs. It's a five-year project, and you'll want to catch every inch of it. The idea is to mix young twink boys with macho superstuds, and Baressi set them in the snowy mountains of California for a beautifully-shot vid. "What's surprising is that the guys who you'd think would be enjoying the outdoors and the snow, the macho guys, were the ones who turned out to be real ladies," quips Baressi. "The butch daddies are the ones who turned out to be the most high maintenance!" Although the director would neither confirm nor deny, the most macho of the men, a new find named Chuck Dirocco, was whining so much about grabbing a Subway sandwich for a meal on the run, that he insisted on a sit-down dinner at Coco's before going any further with the porn brigade. Now this is where the acting awards become more meaningful.

The nicest thing about the Grabby Awards, for sentimental reasons, was the return of Grant Larson, a lanky dark-haired boy-next-door type who could always perform with his long, upwardly-shaped 10 inches. He called me before the Chicago show, so I put him in touch with the right people and he made a big comeback splash in the porn world. "Chi Chi LaRue was so graciously nice, and it was fantastic to see Jerry Douglas again," Larson said about seeing his past directors at the show and being inducted into the Wall of Fame. He was not only a good sex performer, but rather funny, too, and earned kudos for Romeo and Julian, The Courtship of Eddie's Finger, and Idol Country. Alas, he won't be making an onscreen comeback any time soon, because this brainiac is majoring in political science and sociology at school, and is celebrating his fourth year in a "meaningful" relationship.
