So David, you're pretty young. When did
you catch the acting bug?
I started acting when I was ten years old in a small musical
at the Lankershim Theatre in La Cañada. There were
about 60 people in the group and we did a new musical every
year. It was awesome.
Tell us about the play you're in, The Naked
Truth.
It's a show about what happens backstage during a play.
And is the truth that you're naked in it?
Yes. Two of the characters are naked in it.
(Note to self: order tickets!)
Who do you play?
I play Jerry, who is gay and he likes young blonds. He's
fascinated with Eric, a rough, attractive guy. He also receives
attention from another character.
What do you enjoy most about being onstage?
I enjoy that there are no second takes. When it all comes
down to it, it's just then and there and you have to
get it done. You have to use your imagination if you flub
a line. You have to improv.
What do you do when you're not working?
I'm frequently working, but when I'm not I watch
a lot of movies. I meet with friend and discuss philosphical
things. I also spend a lot of time with my family.
