What's your favorite New Year's Eve memory
where you weren't a DJ?
Brett: I don't remember life
before I was a DJ.
Manny: My favorite New Year's
memories are the ones with close friends and a loved one
at home with a glass of champagne and a hug. ÒAuld
Lang SyneÓ always brings a twang of melancholy to
my heart É change and moving on to the unexpected.
What about New Years L.A. are you most
looking forward to?
Brett: Every night is going
to be amazing but Saturday night at The Hollywood Palladium
is going to be off the hook. Manny Lehman's our main party
DJ. We're close friends and we're both excited to make history
with the world's first concert kicking off a dance event.
Manny: I am looking forward
to the fact that L.A. is going to be on the map as a destination
of choice for the new year. I am also looking forward to
being around so many friends and familiar faces. It will
be a night filled with lots of love.
What do each of you like about the other
DJ's sound/style?
Brett: Manny's beats are relentless.
There is a reason he's the number one DJ in the country right
now, and I'm thrilled to have him as our headlining DJ for
this weekend!
Manny: I like listening to
the creative ways my fellow peers put music together. That's
what separates us. We're all chefs with the same ingredients,
but it's how we toss the salad that makes us different.
Make a prediction for the year 2006.
Brett: My boyfriend will
finally move to Los Angeles with me! We're going on two years
of long distance as he finishes nursing school. I'm looking
forward to his graduation this year!
Manny: I predict -- with fingers
crossed -- the return of dance music
What should someone going to your NYE event
expect/prepare for?
Brett: Be prepared for non-stop
energy and lots of fun. We're ringing in the new year like
never before! This will be the biggest New Year's event ever!
Manny: New Year's Eve is always
a night of fun and celebration -- the night of the amateur
and professional club goer all united for a great time. |
