Let's talk about your play Throw Like a Girl. What do you
see as the underlying theme of the show?
The theme of the show is about exploring the truth about
who you are and that it's okay to be who you are. It's okay
to let go of the negative stuff and move on.
How long have you been acting?
I've been acting since college. There was always an urge
inside me as a kid, having my imagination take over all the
time, I so wanted to exploit the moment we're in right now
and create another reality with it.
What do you do when you're not working?
I'm into yoga and meditation. I've been studying the Chinese
practice of balancing the mind, body, and soul. I like painting
and writing. I like to take road trips and travel as much
as possible. I love to meet new people and discover something
new about myself. I love Hawaii. If I wasn't interested in
acting, I'd love to live in Hawaii.
Where do you see yourself in five years' time?
I strive to live in the moment. I feel that I'm in a good
place right now and things will come. I don't have control
of the future. |
